MUESLI Omega ACTIVE fiber

MUESLI Omega ACTIVE fiber

Packaging: 20 kg paper bags

Ingredients: natural meadow hay flakes, sugar beet flakes, machine-dried lucerne, pea fiber pellets, flaxseed flakes, apple pellets, rapeseed oil, carrot flakes, red beet flakes, zeolite, chokeberry.

  • Natural meadow HAY: hay fibres in flakes are rich in fiber supports gut motility and healthy hindgut fermentation; rich in dietary fiber, primarily in the form of cellulose and hemicellulose, which are crucial for maintaining digestive health and proper bowel function in horses. Helps maintain steady, 'cool' energy (fiber-based) and promotes satiety and stable appetite. Useful for keeping routines consistent and reducing boredom.
  • ALFALFA: quality fiber plus valuable amino acids to support topline and muscle. Known for buffering capacity that may support stomach comfort. Adds structure and chew time and supports steady intake. Nutrient-dense option for training, growth, or condition support. Helps strengthen a forage-based ration without cereals. Supports performance horses with high-quality protein and fibre.
  • SUGAR BEET PULP FLAKES. Highly digestible fiber that supports hindgut function. Ferments slowly to provide steady, long-lasting energy. Helps support beneficial gut microbes and manure consistency. Useful for maintaining body condition without high starch. Gentle on digestion and suitable for many sensitive horses. Supports stamina and even energy for work.
  • PEA FIBER. Adds extra fiber to support hindgut health and fermentation. Helps increase satiety and digestive stability. Provides fiber-based calories for active horses (low starch approach). Pellet form improves mix consistency and reduces selective feeding. Supports calmer focus compared to high-grain energy. Practical way to raise daily fiber intake.
  • FLAXSEED FLAKES. Natural source of omega-3 fatty acids for skin and coat support. Supports normal inflammatory balance and recovery demands. Adds 'smart fat' calories without increasing starch. Often supports coat shine and overall condition.  Complements hindgut health with fiber components. Helpful for horses in regular work and during seasonal stress.
  • APPLE PELLETS. Improve palatability and encourages consistent intake. Provide dietary fiber, including soluble fiber like pectin. Support hindgut fermentation and digestive comfort. Contain polyphenols (e.g., quercetin) with antioxidant roles. Contribute vitamins such as C and E (levels vary with processing). Pellet form reduces sorting for a more balanced mouthful.
  • CARROT FLAKES. Boost taste and variety to help picky horses eat consistently. Naturally contain carotenoids (beta-carotene), linked to vitamin A support. Support normal immune function, skin, and vision through vitamin A pathways. Provide small amounts of minerals like potassium (inclusion-dependent). Offer natural antioxidant compounds for daily vitality. Add forage-friendly nutrition without pushing starch too high.
  • RED BEET FLAKES. Add functional plant compounds and variety to the ration. Contain betalains (red pigments) with antioxidant properties. Provide small amounts of minerals like potassium and magnesium (varies). Add dietary fiber that supports hindgut fermentation. Often valued in wellness feeding for vitality and recovery support. Help keep the mix interesting while staying cereal-free.
  • CHOKEBERRY. Rich in natural polyphenols and antioxidants. Supports overall vitality and normal immune function. Helpful for active horses where oxidative stress is higher. Adds natural flavor complexity to improve acceptance. Provides functional plant compounds at low inclusion. Fits well in a wellness-oriented, forage-based muesli.

Application for horses:

When to use: Omega Active Fiber is ideal for sport horses and active leisure horses in regular training (dressage, show jumping, eventing, endurance conditioning) as well as horses that need more calories but do better on low-starch diets. It is especially suitable for horses that become tense or overly energetic on grain, horses with sensitive digestion, and horses that struggle to hold condition during workload changes or seasonal transitions.

How to use: Feed as the main concentrate alongside good-quality forage, or combine with a mineral balancer according to your nutrition plan. Introduce gradually over 7–10 days. Split the daily amount into 2–3 meals, and always provide free access to fresh water and forage. Adjust the feeding rate based on body condition, workload, forage quality, and the individual horse’s metabolism.

Practical starting guide:

Light work / easy keeper: ~0.2 kg per 100 kg bodyweight/day

Moderate work: ~0.3–0.5 kg per 100 kg bodyweight/day

Higher workload or hard keeper: increase gradually as needed.

(Example: a 500 kg horse typically starts around 1.0–2.5 kg/day depending on workload.)

The product must be stored under sound conditions, protected from heat, moisture and risk of condensation.
